Summary
This study tested whether a clot-dissolving medicine called tenecteplase can restore vision in people who suddenly lose sight due to a blocked artery in the eye. 81 adults with central retinal artery occlusion received either tenecteplase or a placebo within 4.5 hours of symptoms. The main goal was to see if the drug improved vision after 30 days.
