Summary
This study aims to understand how the approved IBS-C medication tenapanor changes the community of bacteria and chemicals in the gut. Thirty adults with IBS-C will take the drug for eight weeks and provide stool samples. Researchers will analyze these samples to learn about the drug's effects beyond just relieving symptoms.
