New hope for teens with painful constipation?

Summary
This study is testing if a drug called tenapanor can safely help teenagers (ages 12-17) who have irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). About 180 participants will take either the drug or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) twice a day for 12 weeks. Researchers will track changes in stomach pain and bowel movements to see if the treatment provides relief.
