Summary

This study tests a method to carefully manage body temperature during a complex surgery for pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare abdominal cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can lower the risk of postoperative delirium, a state of confusion that can occur after surgery. About 174 adults will be randomly assigned to either the proactive temperature management or standard care.
