Blood pressure pill joins fight against tough ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT06815497
Summary
This study is testing if adding a common blood pressure drug called telmisartan to standard chemotherapy can help control ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to platinum-based drugs. It will involve about 33 patients and compare how long their cancer stays controlled to results from past patients who only received supportive care. The main goal is to see if this drug combination can delay cancer growth longer than previous approaches.
