Weekly shot tested to fight debilitating eye weakness

NCT ID NCT07249632

Summary

This study is testing if a weekly injection called telitacicept can better control the symptoms of ocular myasthenia gravis, a condition that causes muscle weakness around the eyes. About 120 participants, aged 12 to 80, will receive either the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks while staying on their standard care. The main goal is to see if the drug improves patient-reported eye weakness scores more than the placebo.
