First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week home exercise program supervised through video calls can improve balance and muscle strength in 24 adults with moderate-to-advanced hereditary ataxia. Participants are randomly assigned to either video-supervised sessions or phone-only check-ins. The goal is to see if remote coaching helps people stick with exercises and gain better trunk control and coordination.
