Back pain study: can a website beat a brochure?

NCT ID NCT07501910

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested if a web-based exercise and monitoring program works better than a simple brochure for people with a slipped disc in the lower back. 46 adults did the same 4-week home exercise program, but one group used a website for guidance and check-ins while the other used printed materials. The goal was to see if the online program could reduce pain and improve daily function more effectively.
