Video calls for strength: can remote therapy help ataxia patients?

NCT ID NCT07200505

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week home exercise program, supervised through video calls and an online platform, can improve core stability, strength, and balance for people with moderate hereditary ataxia. Twenty-four participants will be randomly assigned to either receive the full video-based program or a simpler version with just phone check-ins. The goal is to see if this convenient, remote approach is effective and acceptable for improving daily function in people with this movement disorder.
