Summary

This study examines whether using video calls to evaluate patients in psychiatric emergencies can reduce wait times and violent incidents. Researchers will compare 959 patients evaluated via video link with previous patients who received traditional in-person evaluations. The goal is to determine if remote evaluations are practical and acceptable while improving care efficiency and safety.
