Phone-Based care aims to smooth recovery after back surgery
NCT ID NCT06770387
Summary
This study tested whether remote nursing support and a mobile app could help people recover better after surgery for a slipped disc in the lower back. Researchers followed 107 patients to see if this 'telenursing' approach could reduce complications, hospital readmissions, anxiety, and improve overall recovery after they went home. The goal was to provide better support during the transition from hospital to home care.
