Remote coaching aims to cut heart surgery risks

NCT ID NCT07391683

Summary

This study tests whether a remote support program can help patients with heart failure better prepare for heart surgery and reduce serious complications. About 162 high-risk patients will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or a special program with remote monitoring, medication coaching, and exercise guidance before their operation. The goal is to see if this extra preparation leads to fewer deaths, less need for emergency support devices, and shorter intensive care stays after surgery.
