Can phone calls help control diabetes in ethiopia?
NCT ID NCT07423351
Summary
This study aims to see if regular phone counseling can help adults with diabetes in Ethiopia better manage their condition. Over three months, 320 participants will either receive bi-weekly educational phone calls from a nurse or continue with their usual hospital care. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the phone support improves blood sugar control, medication use, self-care habits, and knowledge about diabetes.
