Phone app aims to keep hospital patients safer at home
NCT ID NCT07386275
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could improve care for patients receiving hospital-level treatment at home. Over 200 patients were split into two groups: one used the app to report symptoms and communicate with their care team, while the other received standard care without the app. Researchers wanted to see if the app helped catch problems earlier, reduced trips back to the hospital, and improved how patients felt about their care.
