Telehealth may boost lung cancer screening access for High-Risk smokers

Summary
This study looks at whether using telehealth (video or phone visits) can help more people who are at high risk for lung cancer complete a shared decision-making visit, which is the first step to getting screened. About 6,000 adults aged 50 to 80 with a heavy smoking history will be invited to schedule a telehealth or in-person visit. The goal is to see if telehealth makes screening easier and if it works equally well for people of different races and sexes.
