Doctors test if video calls are just as safe for Kids' surgery prep
NCT ID NCT07175779
Summary
This study aims to find out if a video call with the anesthesia doctor before a child's tonsil surgery is just as good as an in-person visit at preventing breathing problems during and right after the operation. Researchers will compare the two methods in about 106 children. The goal is to see if telemedicine can be a safe, convenient option for families.
