First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new telerehabilitation program delivered via smartphone or computer works as well as standard in-person physical therapy for people recovering from total knee replacement. About 120 adults aged 50-65 who have had a knee replacement will be randomly assigned to either home-based telerehab or clinic-based therapy. The goal is to see if the remote option can improve pain, movement, walking, and quality of life while being more convenient and accessible.
