Mind over matter: can imagined exercise help moms on bed rest?

NCT ID NCT07423793

Summary

This study is testing if a special 8-week program can help pregnant women who are on bed rest for medical reasons. The program uses video calls to guide women through mental exercises where they imagine moving and practice deep breathing, without physically exerting themselves. Researchers want to see if this approach improves the mothers' sense of well-being and reduces anxiety, while also checking for any effects on the baby's health.
