Summary
This study tested whether giving parents online education about their child's hydrocephalus and ventriculoperitoneal shunt could lower their anxiety and increase their confidence. Fifty-nine parents of children aged 0-6 with a VP shunt took part. The approach used video lessons and online questionnaires to measure changes in anxiety and self-efficacy.
