Summary
This study aims to understand how well a powerful antibiotic called telavancin gets into the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Researchers will measure drug levels in 20 critically ill patients who have suffered a brain bleed and have a drainage tube in place. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future treatment for serious brain infections.
