Summary

This study tests whether a drug called tegoprazan can reduce stomach acid during general anesthesia better than another drug (famotidine) or a placebo. The goal is to lower the risk of stomach contents entering the lungs, a rare but serious complication. About 174 adults having planned surgery will take the drug before anesthesia, and their stomach acid levels will be measured right after breathing tube placement.
