New blood test for kids: will it measure up?

Summary
This study is testing a device called TEG 6s that measures how well blood clots. Researchers want to see if it gives accurate results in healthy children under 18 who are having planned surgery. About 125 kids will give a small blood sample at the start of their operation. The goal is to find normal values for children and compare them to existing published ranges.
