New blood test for kids: will it measure up?

Summary
This study looks at how well a new device called TEG 6s measures blood clotting in children. About 125 kids under 18 having planned surgery will give a small blood sample. The goal is to find normal values for healthy children and compare them to published ranges. No treatment is given—just observation.
