Do teens with scoliosis get more anxious from googling symptoms?

NCT ID NCT07481071

Summary

This study aims to understand if teenagers diagnosed with a common spinal curve condition (scoliosis) experience higher levels of anxiety from searching for health information online, a behavior called 'cyberchondria.' Researchers will compare 100 teens with scoliosis to a group of their peers without the condition. The goal is to learn how internet searches affect their worries and quality of life, not to test a new treatment.
