Can fixing teen sleep schedules fix their lives?
NCT ID NCT01828320
Summary
This study tested whether helping teens who are 'night-owls' (evening types) shift to an earlier sleep schedule could improve their health and well-being. Researchers enrolled 176 adolescents, aged 10-18, who were 'night-owls' and at risk in areas like mood, behavior, or school performance. They compared two different counseling programs to see which was better at changing sleep habits and reducing risks.
