Can a short course teach teens to spot mental health struggles?
NCT ID NCT07195890
Summary
This study is testing a 3-hour educational course called Teen Mental Health First Aid in Hong Kong secondary schools. It aims to see if the course improves students' knowledge about mental health, reduces stigma, and encourages them to seek help if needed. About 500 students will participate, with half taking the course and half serving as a comparison group. Researchers will use surveys to measure any changes in attitudes and knowledge immediately after the course and again three months later.
