Tech vs. tradition: race to stop ICU Patients' muscles from wasting away
NCT ID NCT06700694
Summary
This study is testing if a new technology-assisted program can help prevent severe muscle weakness in patients who are critically ill and on a ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It will compare three groups: one using the new tech program, one using a standard movement program, and one receiving usual care. The main goal is to see which approach best prevents ICU-acquired weakness and helps patients recover their strength and function.
