New study tests which recovery method gets athletes back in the game faster

NCT ID NCT07547566

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two ways to help young athletes recover after intense exercise: TECAR therapy (a type of electrical heat treatment) and cycling. 48 healthy adults who do regular sports will do jumping exercises to get tired, then try one of the recovery methods. Researchers will measure how high they can jump again and how sore their muscles feel to see which method works better.
