First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a type of heat therapy called TECAR can reduce pain and improve finger movement after surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon in the hand. About 40 adults aged 20 to 35 who had direct tendon repair will receive either standard care or standard care plus TECAR therapy. Researchers will measure finger joint movement and pain at 2, 4, and 6 weeks after surgery.
