New therapy trial targets debilitating pelvic pain in men
NCT ID NCT07324239
Summary
This study is testing whether a treatment called TECAR therapy can help reduce pain and improve quality of life for men suffering from chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain. Sixty men aged 30-50 with symptoms lasting over six months will be randomly assigned to receive either real TECAR therapy or a sham treatment, along with lifestyle advice. Researchers will measure changes in pain, urinary symptoms, sleep, and erectile function to see if the therapy provides meaningful relief.
