Deep heat therapy trial aims to restore Neck's 'Internal GPS'
NCT ID NCT07289607
Summary
This study is testing whether a deep heat therapy called TECAR can improve a specific sense of joint position (proprioception) in people with cervical radiculopathy, a painful neck condition caused by a pinched nerve. Researchers will compare standard physical therapy alone to physical therapy plus TECAR in 80 adults. The main goal is to see if adding TECAR helps patients better sense their neck's position and movement, which could improve balance and function.
