Zap your back pain? new therapy trial seeks relief for herniated discs
NCT ID NCT07335718
Summary
This study is testing if a treatment called TECAR therapy, which uses focused radiofrequency energy, can help reduce pain and improve movement for people with long-term lower back pain caused by a herniated disc. It will compare the real therapy against a fake version, with both groups also doing a set of home exercises. The goal is to see if adding this therapy leads to better pain relief and quality of life than exercises alone.
