Summary

This study is testing a new drug called tebapivat to see if it can improve anemia in people with sickle cell disease. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo in 56 participants to find the best dose and check its safety. The main goal is to see if the drug increases hemoglobin levels, which could help reduce symptoms like fatigue.
