Scientists look to tears for clues to cure dry eye
NCT ID NCT07175909
Summary
This study aims to find a better way to diagnose and manage dry eye disease by analyzing the proteins in a person's tears. Researchers will test a special device that uses gentle electrical stimulation on the eyelids to see if it improves dry eye symptoms. They will track 75 participants to see if changes in tear proteins can show how well the treatment is working.
