First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether an online, team-based approach to managing eczema works as well as traditional in-person doctor visits. 300 patients with eczema were randomly assigned to either online care or in-person care for 12 months. Researchers measured changes in disease severity, quality of life, and costs to see if the online model is a good alternative.
