Can better communication help trauma patients heal?

NCT ID NCT05616312

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific teaching method called 'teach-back' helps patients remember their injury and treatment instructions after orthopedic trauma surgery. Researchers will compare patients who receive this education to those who don't, looking at how well they remember information, follow treatment plans, and rate their satisfaction with care. The goal is to find better ways to communicate with patients during recovery.
