New teaching trick could boost breastfeeding success for new moms
NCT ID NCT07407335
Summary
This study tested if a special teaching method called 'teach-back' helps new mothers breastfeed more successfully. First-time mothers were randomly assigned to get either this special education or the standard hospital advice. Researchers measured how well breastfeeding went, the mothers' confidence, and their bond with their baby shortly after birth.
