Could your cup of tea speed up muscle recovery?
NCT ID NCT07113405
Summary
This study is testing whether a tea extract combined with protein helps muscles recover better after strenuous exercise compared to protein alone or a placebo. Healthy adults aged 18-40 will jog downhill for 30 minutes to tire their leg muscles, then take a recovery product for 5 days. Researchers will measure muscle strength, soreness, and blood markers to see which recovery method works best.
