Zapping away pain: brain stimulation trial offers hope for chronic sufferers
NCT ID NCT07361692
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can help reduce pain and improve daily function for people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Researchers will compare real stimulation to a sham (fake) treatment in 32 participants to see if it lowers pain scores after one month of treatment. The goal is to provide a safe, drug-free option for managing this challenging chronic pain condition.
