First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether 80 sessions of a gentle brain stimulation technique called tDCS, given over 12 months, can help children aged 6 to 11 who have autism along with rare diseases, genetic problems, or PANDAS. Researchers will measure changes in attention, social skills, language, and brain activity. The goal is to see if this non-invasive treatment can improve daily functioning, but it is not expected to cure the underlying conditions.
