Brain zaps may boost social skills in autistic teens

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can improve thinking and social skills in 90 adolescents with autism. Participants will receive multiple sessions of tDCS, and some will get booster sessions to see if benefits last longer. The goal is to ease core symptoms like social difficulties and inattention, not to cure the condition.
