Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can reduce social anxiety and improve social skills in adults with autism. Twenty high-functioning adults will complete social learning tasks while receiving either real or fake stimulation over multiple sessions. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, empathy, and social responsiveness using questionnaires, voice analysis, and brain activity recordings.
