First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS could improve voice quality and range in healthy singers. 45 singers without formal training received either real or fake stimulation over 10 sessions while doing voice exercises. Researchers measured vocal range, quality, and effort to see if the brain stimulation made a difference.
