Can a gentle brain zap boost memory in cancer survivors?
NCT ID NCT02726763
First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study explores whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS, combined with memory exercises, is practical and tolerable for breast cancer survivors who have memory problems after chemotherapy. The study enrolled 18 survivors aged 40-65 who completed treatment at least six months prior. The main goal is to see if enough people can be recruited and if they can stick with the program, not to measure effectiveness.
