Scientists re-engineer Patient's own cells to hunt deadly sarcomas
NCT ID NCT07467122
Summary
This is an early-stage study testing a new type of personalized cell therapy for people with advanced soft tissue or bone cancers (sarcomas). Doctors will collect a patient's own immune cells (T cells), modify them in a lab to recognize a specific protein found on the cancer cells (MAGE-A4), and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to check if this treatment is safe and to see if it shows any early signs of fighting the cancer.
