Scientists test re-engineered immune cells to fight tough cancers

NCT ID NCT07342738

Summary

This early-phase study is testing a new type of cell therapy called TCR-T for people with advanced solid tumors that have specific KRAS gene mutations. It aims to see if it is safe and if it can help control the cancer. The treatment involves collecting a patient's own immune cells, modifying them in a lab to better target the cancer, and then infusing them back into the patient after a short course of chemotherapy.
