New gel tested to heal fragile skin in 'Butterfly Children' disease
NCT ID NCT06594393
Summary
This study is testing a gel called TCP-25 to see if it can help heal skin wounds in people with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare condition that causes extremely fragile skin. Researchers will compare the gel to a placebo (vehicle) gel by applying each to a different matching wound on the same person. The main goal is to see if TCP-25 reduces wound size and is safe to use over 8 weeks.
