First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a gel called TCP-25 on open wounds in people with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a condition that causes fragile, blistering skin. About 32 participants aged 4 and older will have two matching wounds treated—one with the study gel and one with a placebo—to see if the gel helps wounds close faster and reduces pain during dressing changes.
