Can ancient chinese medicine predict modern cancer drug success?

NCT ID NCT07338396

Summary

This study aims to understand if a patient's Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) body pattern relates to how well their targeted lung cancer drugs work. Researchers will observe 3000 patients with a specific lung cancer mutation who are taking EGFR-TKI drugs as part of their standard care. Over up to 5 years, they will collect TCM information (like tongue images) and track the cancer's progression and the patient's quality of life to look for connections.
