First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a traditional Chinese medicine (Feireqing Granules) to standard antibiotics can help people with severe pneumonia caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria. About 152 adults will receive either the herbal granules or a placebo, alongside usual care. The main goal is to see if the herbal treatment lowers the risk of death and improves recovery.
